Sunfunder is a crowdfunding start-up focused on providing solar power to developing countries. The staff is a small group of brilliant young entrepreneurs putting their financial experience to use for the common good. For their web site video, I chose actors and scenes that embodied the vitality and passion of the company. Choosing sun as the symbol was easy — what wasn’t so easy was finding a sunny day in San Francisco. Thanks to shooting RAW on the RED and Magic Bullet, I was able to add some color and “sun” to this low-budget video.
