So as I’ve mentioned before, my bestie Whitney Cicero and I have been making videos under the brand The New Stepford for a couple years now. It’s fun and easy and a great break from transcribing 300 hours of documentary interviews. We’ve had moderate success in the past, including being asked to join the AwestruckTV channel on YouTube. But we never went viral — until now. Who knew? You people just like to yell at your kids, I guess. And you like it short and simple. Yep, we finally figured out that under 40 seconds is your sweet spot. And framing the video like a meme — that’s a good idea too.
